teenagers aren't supposed to
be in love right? we just think we are? i don't think i've ever
experienced actual love before. i haven't loved someone unconditionally
to a point where i would sacrifice everything for them. i think that's
the problem with my generation though, we underestimate what love is. we
don't understand the type of power it has over us.
i can't even describe
how many people 'hook up' or have 'flings' and are convinced that it's
love. that's not love; that's not even close. i'm not like those girls. i
can't just trust someone with my feelings like that. trusting leads to
disappointment and i'm in no condition to be disappointed by someone i
care about again.
anyway,
where was i? i'm trying to organize my thoughts. oh yeah --- teen love.
i just find it stupid i guess, how people don't even care and just
fling themselves at anyone any chance they get.
personally,
when i'm really in love, i think i'll know. it'll be effortless.
something i won't think twice about. i won't worry about how i look or
what i say, i'll just be myself. i guess i sort of want someone to love
me though. i know, i know, the right person will come, i'm young, blah
blah blah. but sometimes you just sort of what someone there, someone
you can count on and talk to. i dont know, i guess i've been missing
that lately.
SO, i wrote a list of
things i think every girl wants a guy to do for her. if you ever find
someone who does these things, never let them go :) let's take a look at
it shall we ?
WHAT HE'D DO:
- make you pancakes.
- kiss you
- remind you how lovely you are
- read you books
- watch bad romantic comedies with you
- make you mixes
- draw you pictures
- photograph you
- cuddle with you
- hug you
- hold your hand
- give you his sweater
- make you coffee
- buy you your favorite albums
- play with your hair
- tell you his secrets
- save you from spiders
- protect you from monsters (inside your head)
- write you poems
- give you handwritten letters
- send you cute morning texts
- and love you unconditionally.
